Our gimnasium
MBCI "Gymnasium No. 21 named after A.M.Terekhov" is an educational institution of an advanced level of education. Those for whom a good education is the most important priority in life come to study here.
Gymnasium students are given the opportunity to receive a universal classical education in all subjects of the curriculum, as well as the opportunity to master foreign languages according to the program of schools with in-depth study.
The goal of the gymnasium is to prepare a well-rounded citizen, oriented in the traditions of domestic and world culture, in the modern system of values and the needs of modern life, an individual capable of active social adaptation in society and independent life choices, to begin working life and continue professional education, to self-education and self-improvement.

Mascot - Demmi bear
A talisman is an object that brings happiness and good luck to its owner. The bear cub is the most successful mascot for our gymnasium because:
- The bear, for a long time, has been the personification of strength and good nature;
- Also, the bear is a symbol of our native Siberia;
- Turning to politics, the bear is a symbol of the ruling party of the Russian Federation.
Our little bear is a student. His headdress speaks about this. But Demi is not just a student, he is a student at a gymnasium where they study foreign languages, since such a headdress is worn by graduates of foreign schools.
Our little bear's name is Demi. This name is associated with the following English words:
“Demos” – (translated from English as “community”, “commune”). And our school is a small commune, a family where teachers and students live together.
“Demilitarized” - (war-free zone) - our Demi lives in a gymnasium that is against war and fights for world peace.
“Demiurge” – (creators) – and we, the children of the gymnasium, together with Demi, are creating a new history.
